helpful staff ample closet fresh towels evening tidying
i found the staff helpful. they assisted with directions and recommendations for nearby attractions. the room had ample closet space and drawer space. i appreciated the turndown service, it included fresh towels and tidying of the room each evening.
The minibar prices were high. I noticed a significant markup compared to local shops, though this is common.

central location attentive staff noisy heating cold room
The location was really central. The staff were attentive and very polite.
The room seemed quite cold, and I was alerted to a noise from the heating system. It restarted every 15 minutes or so, an unpleasant surprise.

cold room noisy system
the room was quite cold the reception alerted me they put on the heating system but it was only when i went to bed that i discovered the heating system was very noisy it restarted every 15 minutes or so the noise was distracting and made it difficult to sleep properly i found this unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed standard it affected my ability to rest and prepare for my engagements the following day i believe the heating system needs maintenance or replacement it significantly detracted from the quality of my stay, noisy heating system
